Telecare is a free service of Rosscare which is an affiliate of Eastern Maine Healthcare Systems. Telecare volunteers make daily calls to seniors to be sure they are safe. The telecare program has been around for more than thirty years. Right now it needs volunteers. It is looking for caring people who can spend at least a few hours each week calling seniors.

Douglas Grant is one of those volunteers and says it was one of the best decisions he's made.
